Detail of the eastern edge of the large pit where most of the offerings were placed. On the right can be seen the bronze lantern, in the centre a group of bronze vessels, bronze and iron strigils (curved blades which were used to scrape oil and dirt off the bodies of athletes). Beside the vessels can be seen the bronze folding stool and close to the edge of the pit is the bronze lamp stand and lamp.
