Horse burial A

A grave with two horses was found a short distance from wagons B and C. The skeletons of these horses were placed in a narrow, shallow pit. Their skulls have completely disintegrated. Bronze decorative elements from the bridle have been preserved, as well as glass beads and parts of the leather harness which had been decorated with small bronze studs. These were surely the reserve horses for the two wagons.
